Very handy for showing to prospective buyers when selling the old cars too. Very helpful to have quickly discernible summary handy, instead of having to pore over the actual service records whenever looking something up. I don't do it on my smart phone but I created excel spreadsheet years ago for our cars, where I track expenditures for all routine and unscheduled maintenance, to include tires and batteries. Any recommendations or other thoughts? Thanks all…. I’m not that interested in tracking gas usage and mileage, mostly just making sure that I take good care of the cars. that help track maintenance needs and events. But that’s not terribly important because my family drives cars until they go to the junkyard. That might be nice presuming it also helps me update their vehicle service records. I’ve spent maybe 10 minutes looking online. And it would remind me that the service guy said last April that I should probably have the rear brakes done in maybe another 10,000 miles. tranny fluid change at 75,000 miles so I don’t have to consult the printed owner’s manual all the time. And the ideal app would also know the factory-recommended maintenance schedule for my cars, e.g. Plus of course non-routine stuff, stuff that breaks like a wiper motor or the tie rod on the mower. Ideally the app would keep track of when I had maintenance issues resolved, including routine stuff like new brakes and tires, and even oil changes. In my quest to make better use of my smartphone, I’m now looking for an app to help me track the maintenance needs and history of six personal vehicles: three cars, one pickup, one lawn tractor and a golf cart.
